In 1998 we started crossing our Limangus breed with pure African breeds. Due to the move of cattle to the north of Argentina, new breeds are needed in order to fill these new land.
The cross between British breeds and Brahman proved to be successful for these areas, but with fertility, docility and carcass problems.
So we started to cross some Limangus heifers with Tuli semen (African breed) and the calves were sent to Chaco and Santiago del Estero in the north of Argentina. These animals have good carcass conformation and docility. For the last years we have been selling this breed bulls in Quines, San Luis and west of La Pampa province.
We are keen in the success of this breed in the extra-pampas area.
